Sea Glass Dish

In this workshop, participants will create a coil-built dish perfect for holding trinkets, soap, or any small treasures. You can select from a variety of provided templates or design your own unique-shaped piece, letting your imagination guide the process. The session encourages creativity and hands-on exploration, providing a welcoming space to experiment with clay and develop personal artistic expression. After the initial creation, the fun continues with a special glazing experience in collaboration with Remark Glass in South Philadelphia. Using a multicolored mix of recycled glass combined with Black Hound’s glazes, each piece transforms into a one-of-a-kind work of art with vibrant, unexpected results. The workshop also follows a sliding scale pricing system designed to make clay experiences accessible to a wide audience, and participants are encouraged to review the sliding scale information before registering to understand their placement on the scale.
