I did a 6 week Level 1 Wheel Throwing course with Vinh and was really pleased with my results. I booked a second Level 1 course in order to solidify what I had learned as there is so much to take in over the 6 weeks and I would highly recommend doing this. I now plan to go on to Level 2. It is a really enjoyable and contemplative activity and the vibe in the studio is lovely. I'd highly recommend it. Vinh is very patient!

I attended a two-hour pottery class with two friends, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. Although the class is advertised as two hours, more than 30 minutes were spent just touring the studio, and the last 15 minutes were dedicated to cleaning everything ourselves. That leaves very little actual time to work on your piece. I made a mug and was told I couldn’t paint it myself, only chose a glaze colour. I picked pink, but when I went to collect it, the result was awful. Even the staff admitted that whoever applied the glaze hadn’t done a good job. The only solution they offered was to pick another mug, which makes no sense when the whole point is to take home the piece you made. I asked if I could repeat the class, but they said no. Overall, I don’t recommend this place. There are other pottery studios in Dublin that offer better guidance, more time for actual making, and take more care with glazing your work.

I have done 2 courses here - a five week hand-building and a weekend mix of hand-building/using the wheel. The studio is spacious, well run and clean. It also has a lovely atmosphere. The teachers (Lily, Noel, and Simon) were all great. I'll definitely be back!

I can't recommend the studio enough if you're looking to try your hand at pottery. I've done two 5-week wheel-throwing courses a few months apart with Vinh and he's a brilliant teacher. He gave us really clear instruction and demos as well as kind and helpful encouragement, and he helped all of us to improve and to come away with things we were really proud to have made. The studio space is warm and welcoming, the courses are great value for the amount of time and expertise you get and I'll definitely be back.

I did the wheel throwing taster class this weekend and absolutely loved it! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and inspired. The studio is spacious and well-equipped, with a calm and encouraging atmosphere that made it easy to focus and enjoy the class. The teacher, Noel, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, guiding us through each step (multiple times). Noel was so helpful and enthusiastic, he made sure that everyone had a piece to take home at the end! It was also amazing to see other students/members creations around the studio! Dublin City really needed a creative space like this and I’m already looking forward to signing up for another class/course. I highly recommend this class for anyone looking to try something new or improve their pottery skills! It was a gorgeous way to spend a Saturday afternoon ☺️
