Financial District - Downtown Manhattan tour

Come explore the original New York, or as it was once called, New Amsterdam. On this walking tour, you will wander through the historic downtown neighborhood, discovering famous landmarks such as Wall Street, the Fearless Girl and Charging Bull statues, and the World Trade Center. You will also explore lesser-known sites like Bowling Green, the Woolworth Building, and the Canyon of Heroes. Along the way, the tour visits an old cemetery and two historic churches that stand side by side with the iconic tall buildings that define the area. Your guide will provide fascinating stories and historical insights dating back to the 17th century, offering a deep understanding of the city’s rich past.

Participants will also have optional experiences at the end of the tour. You can choose to take a ride on the Staten Island Ferry to enjoy views of the Statue of Liberty, or conclude at the 9/11 Memorial, where you can visit the museum independently and/or take a trip up to One World Trade Center for panoramic views of the city. The additional experiences are not included in the tour price, but ticket arrangements can be coordinated in advance for your convenience.
