As a certified canoe tour operator, we have been offering canoe tours for school classes for over 20 years, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for students of all ages. Our tours on the Lohne River begin in Lembruch and end in Diepholz at the town hall. The river is very calm and shallow, allowing participants to stand in the water if needed. Every participant receives a suitable life jacket, and the tour is accompanied by a trained canoe guide who holds a first aid certificate and is a certified lifeguard, providing both safety and guidance throughout the journey.

For younger students up to the 7th grade, the tours start halfway at the school playground, beginning with an approximately 1.5-hour canoeing course. After a lunch break of about 45 minutes, the group continues paddling to Diepholz. This option is particularly suitable for inclusive school classes. For grammar schools and secondary schools, tours start in Lembruch from the 6th grade onwards. For school classes up to the 5th grade, team boats accommodating up to 12 people are used, with the guide steering one boat and supervisors controlling the others. We are also happy to assist with arranging bus transfers and suitable accommodation, ensuring that each school class is always accompanied by a trained canoe guide.
