Safe And Educational Canoe Adventures For School Classes Along The Calm Lohne River

For over two decades, our certified team has provided safe and engaging canoe tours specifically designed for school classes on the tranquil Lohne River. Starting in Lembruch and concluding at the town hall in Diepholz, the river’s shallow and calm waters make it an ideal environment for students of all ages. Every participant is equipped with a suitable life jacket, and the entire journey is supervised by a trained canoe guide who holds both first aid and lifeguard certifications to ensure maximum safety.

The program is highly adaptable to different age groups and educational needs. Younger students up to the 7th grade begin their journey at the school playground, starting with a 1.5-hour instructional canoeing course to build confidence and basic skills. After a scheduled lunch break, the group continues their paddle toward Diepholz. This structured approach is particularly effective for inclusive school classes, as it allows for a gradual introduction to the activity in a controlled and supportive setting.

For older students in grammar and secondary schools, the tours commence in Lembruch, offering a more direct and adventurous experience. We utilize team boats that can accommodate up to 12 people for classes up to the 5th grade, which allows for collaborative paddling under the guidance of our instructors and accompanying supervisors.
