Coonawarra Weekend Away

Join us for an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking Coonawarra region, one of South Australia’s premier wine destinations. On Friday, we will depart around lunchtime, taking in the scenic beauty of the region along the way. Arrival in Coonawarra is expected around 4:30 PM, allowing time to settle into your accommodation and organize dinner for the evening. On Saturday, after a leisurely breakfast at 10 AM, the day begins with a visit to the Naracoorte Caves, where you will have two hours to explore the fascinating formations and learn about their remarkable history. Following this, we return to the winery region for a platter lunch accompanied by wine tastings at your first winery. Later in the afternoon, enjoy an immersive Cabernet masterclass at another winery, where you can deepen your understanding and appreciation of this iconic varietal. By 4 PM, we return to the accommodation for relaxation before dinner.

Sunday starts at 10 AM with a final winery visit before departing the Coonawarra region. On the journey back to Adelaide, we will stop at the Blue Lake Bar and Bistro for a delightful lunch, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience. The tour is designed to offer a perfect blend of scenic landscapes, exceptional wines, and delicious local cuisine. Children join for free but should be excluded from the booking, though it is important to notify us of any children and their numbers for seating arrangements.
