Embark on a creative journey through the breathtaking landscapes of the Dingle Peninsula. This immersive workshop invites you to step beyond the technical and explore the artistic heart of landscape photography in Ireland. We will travel to stunning locations around Dingle, treating each stop as a unique opportunity to see the world differently. The focus is on your personal vision, learning to interpret the elements of the landscape through composition and the magic of natural light. We will master the art of balance, guiding the viewer’s eye through your frame, and discover how to alter perspective using your position and angle of view. You will learn how light’s direction and color can create powerful moods in both color and black and white images. Throughout our exploration, we will examine the dynamic relationship between static components and fluid features like water, wind, and the skies. Learn to create tension and atmosphere with shutter speeds, capturing the motion of waves, waterfalls, and rivers. As the day progresses, we prepare for the grand finale. The second session is timed with the golden hour, leading us to the rugged Dingle coastline as sunset approaches. Here, we will focus on dramatic seascape photography. The goal is to capture the raw beauty of the coast, hopefully under spectacular skies, creating a powerful and memorable image to complete your day of artistic discovery.
