Beautiful beach but way too crowded. The reef is decent for snorkelers but excellent for divers and free divers as the best stuff to see is at least 30ft deep.
This is a gorgeous beach with crystal clear water. The road to get in is rough, past the gate where you need to pay for the entrance fee, $6. Get ready for a 5min drive on really rough terrain. Arrive early to get a good parking spot, otherwise you’ll park far back and you’re in for a walk to get to the beach. Once you arrive, it’s stunning. White, soft sand, enough chairs and shade for everyone. Stay for the sunset 🌅. Good snorkelling, drinks and snack bar with reasonable prices. 15XCg for a smoothie with alcohol. Although there were many people, it didn’t feel crowded. We loved it and so far it’s been our favourite beach in Curacao.
This beach is PERFECTION. The sand is soft and the waters are colors of blue and turquoise like you’ve never seen. The beach chairs are super comfortable and there are lots of options for shade. The snorkeling is AMAZING with tons of fun places to explore with vibrant fish - we even saw a small octopus and a sea turtle!! The food options are great and there’s even a larger palapa where you can get a massage right next to the water (highly recommend a foot and leg massage for tired travelers). The cliffs on either side provide a gorgeous backdrop for pictures and it was fun to see people taking lots of pictures in front of them. The entrance fees ($6) and chair rental fees ($3.50 each) are totally reasonable and you get a shower token if you rent a chair. The restrooms are clean and free to use. The road is VERY bumpy and rough, so take it nice and slow. The parking area can get really muddy, so it makes sense to have 2 pairs of shoes so you can change into clean shoes before getting in your car. There’s a lot of coral/rocks along the water’s edge, but water shoes really help. I wish I could spend all day everyday at this beach!!
Cas Abao Beach is absolutely stunning with its crystal-blue water and soft white sand. You’re guaranteed to have a phenomenal time here—whether you’re visiting with family, kids, or just looking to unwind. There’s a small bar and restaurant on site; nothing glamorous, but it gets the job done when you need a quick bite or drink. Be prepared for a small entrance fee of $6 USD and $3 USD for chair rentals. The beach itself is well worth it—clean, not too rocky, and with calm waves that make it perfect for snorkeling or simply relaxing the day away. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend spending a day at Cas Abao Beach. You won’t be disappointed.

Open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Restaurant with bar, clean toilets, shower for a fee, is included in the price of the sunbed ticket. Very nice beach, crystal clear sea, you can snorkel all day and watch the underwater world. Flying rock on the edge of the beach, photo point. I recommend, even all day, one of those beautiful ones and with services.
