It was a wonderful place to visit and hear about the history of Carnival in Brazil.

Went here for the carnival experience and had a great time. Wonderful to see the history of the event and all the hard work going into preparing for next year. Definitely worth seeing if you enjoy culture.

Absolutely loved seeing behind the scenes of carnival. And who doesn't like a little dress up? A great way to spend 90 minutes.

We went there for the sambadrome behind the stage experience, called Samba Experience… apart from learning the meaning and history of samba you also get a glass of caipirinha, samba performance, a samba lesson and costume fitting! It’s one of the best things we have done during Carnaval season 😊

An hour before the scheduled start, we were informed that the tour was postponed to the next day – we understand that unexpected changes can happen, but notifying us only an hour in advance is highly unprofessional. Moreover, the message was only in Portuguese, making it difficult to understand. The entrance was poorly marked, which caused confusion. We expected to see the real behind-the-scenes of the carnival, how everything is made, and the effort that goes into the preparations, but unfortunately, none of that was shown. Instead, the most interesting parts, such as the craftsmanship behind the floats and costumes, were completely skipped. The carnival floats were visible for only a few seconds, which was disappointing. We were not interested in dressing up or taking staged photos. The 10-minute film was incredibly dull and did not provide any new insights. It would have been much more engaging if the guide had shared real stories and details about the preparation process.
