My friends and I climbed Mt Pico with our guide Bruno. The hike was very rough, the weather was changing every 5 minutes and both descend and ascent were challenging, but thanks to Bruno it was a bit easier. He is very professional, knowledgeable but also fun and relaxed. Totally recommended!
My family of 4 did the overnight camping climb of Pico. Overall an excellent experience with amazing views at sunset and sunrise. Sunset at the summit with just our group of 7 was amazing. Matteo the guide was brilliant - supporting one person with carrying their rucksack to ensure we made it to the summit on time and providing hot tea and coffee for sunrise. He also took lots of photos and video clips including some beautiful footage of the summit at sunset with a drone. The supplied camping equipment was all very good quality.
We had a day hike of Mount Pico with Matteo as our guide. Such a nice guy with loads of knowledge about the island and the hike. He picked us up at Madelena and was kind all the way through. Great day. Great experience!
