Came here for our last afternoon in Dublin for what was supposed to be a tasty meal. We were impressed by the reviews and menu so we came here for an early dinner. I ordered prawns to start and when they arrived they were all really mushy. I've never had prawns so mushy in my life. They smelt and tasted okay and I thought maybe they had been stewed hence the texture. After eating a couple, I just knew in my gut they wern't right. I told the waitress who even admitted herself that they should not be that way and told me they have been defrosted. She said she would tell the chef but didn't come back to give me an update on this. Once my main arrived, I had a few mouthfuls but I was put off my food by the mushy prawns. Again the waitress wasn't bothered, we asked for the bill and nothing was taken off for the prawns and there wasn't any sort of apology. We decided to cut out loses, pay and left. Since leaving the restaurant, I have had an upset stomach and I am just hoping I don't get bad food poisoning. Nice ambience and the menu looks good. But unfortunately the service and prawns were not good.
This is a perfect date night place with great food, chic vibe and good cocktails. They have divided the space into multiple sections And one of them is dim lit perfect for a cozy dinner and drinks date. Tried the falafel and hummus and the mezze platter, both were delish, highly recommend. We were there for anniversary celebration and the servers kindly bought a piece of cheesecake on the house which was yum too. The service is really nice with all the servers ready to accommodate any special requests and smiling all the time. Will definitely be back for the food and the hospitality.
We took the barkok and lamb shank tajine and honestly they are uniquely tasty, I would definitely recommend you to visit it. We also tried their mezza which is a combination of many sauces and dips. And then after that Moroccan tea to end our wonderful meal. We were served by staff called Monya and she definitely made our experience very welcoming and great. My final rating is 10/10. Thanks a lot for such a wonderful experience.
I liked the lighting and the general vibe of this place. It looks auhentic Moroccan. I got a slow cooker lamb dish and I loved it. It has the right amount of salt and spices.
Absolutely wonderful experience. The sampler platter, spinach phyllo, and prawns were fantastic. Really great if you need a break from the heavier options in Dublin. I walked away feeling full but spry! The waiter seemed to be running the entire restaurant by himself but was still attentive and gave great recommendations! Dark, cozy atmosphere with theme-appropriate music. A must try, in my opinion!
