Greeted at the door by Cathy who was very friendly and showed us around the property Beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need. One bedroom on ground floor and 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs with very comfortable beds. Plenty of space , tables chairs etc outside and amazing views of the mountains. All very peaceful yet only a 10 minute walk into Bunclody

Cathy was a wonderful host. We enjoyed our stay, felt very comfortable and safe. The cottage has beautiful views of the Irish countryside. We look forward to staying here again.

A home away from home- Berna’s cottage had all the conveniences of home throughout our stay. Items such as: phone charger, ice tray, all kitchen and cooking utensil, trash bags and washing up liquid- everything we needed was at our finger tips. The cottage is centrally located a few minutes walk to downtown Bunclody Co. Wexford and was an ideal base for exploring the entire sunny southeast. After a long day of sightseeing, it was very nice to come home to switch on the kettle and watch some Netflix. Paul and Cathy provided prompt responses during the booking process and also were quickly available to chat with during our stay, if needed. Our family of 5 were very comfortable during our visit. We especially loved the attached green space that our kids could play in. There is a small yard in the front and back of the cottage where kids can play and we could drink coffee and safely watch them. I can’t rave enough about our pleasant stay and we looking forward to visiting Berna’s Cottage next time we are in town.
