The lake view is beautiful, especially during sunset, and the entire area is clean, spacious, and well maintained. It’s a good spot for families, friends, and couples looking for a few relaxing hours by the water. Entry Fees (Approx.): Adults (Weekdays): ₹70 Adults (Weekends/Public Holidays): ₹100 Children 5–15 years: ₹30–₹50 Kids below 5 years: Free Parking available at an additional small charge. Boating & Ride Charges (Approx.): Paddle/Pedal Boat: ~₹200–₹300 per person Speed Boat: ~₹250–₹400 per person Lake Cruise: ~₹500–₹600 per person Kayaking: ~₹600+ Jet Ski / Banana Ride / Bumper Ride: Usually higher depending on group size (₹300–₹800+) Life jackets are provided and staff generally guide well, so safety feels assured. Facilities: Small café/snack counter with tea, coffee, basic snacks. Washrooms and changing rooms available. Seating area facing the dam — perfect for photos and relaxing. Ample parking space. What I liked: Calm atmosphere with great lake and sunset views. Good variety of rides for all age groups. Clean surroundings and decent safety measures. What could be better: Weekends can get crowded and queues for rides get slow. Rides may be unavailable during monsoon or low water levels, so checking beforehand helps. Food options are limited — mainly snacks. Overall: A very nice place for a 2–3 hour outing. Worth visiting for peaceful views and a fun boating experience at affordable rates. I’d definitely recommend going around sunset for the best experience.

Beautiful lakeside location at Gangapur Dam with great potential for water sports. Unfortunately, all boating and water rides were closed due to rain during our visit. Still, a peaceful spot to relax with scenic views, a decent café, and good parking. Worth a visit—just check weather updates before you go!
It is a really huge place. There are lots of spots to chill there. You get the best sunset view there. You can visit the place with your family as well as your friends. There is a big sitting area where you can order food. There are boat rides which you can enjoy but I felt the prices are too high. Important thing was the washroom. It is really well maintained. There is also a changing room there so you don't have to worry about your clothes getting wet. There is also a sanitary pad machine installed which I really felt was useful. The place is really clean and hygienic. You should really visit this. But if you don't have your own vehicle like if you're coming there from rickshaw I suggest you to return soon as it is not a nice area and you don't get rickshaw there.
Visited Boat Club Nashik at 9:00 AM for a morning kayaking session, which was priced at ₹800. The overall kayaking experience was enjoyable and peaceful, especially considering the early morning setting which added to the serenity of the activity. The place is good and has a cafe too, overall view and ambiance is very pleasant. There is an entry charge of Rs 70 per person and then additional charges based on the activity that you want to do. However, there were a few concerns. Out of the two of us, one did not know how to swim and was understandably nervous about venturing into the water. The staff initially assured us that we’d be well taken care of, that they were trained in swimming, and that supervision would be provided throughout the activity. Based on this reassurance, we decided to proceed. The kayaking session lasted about 20 minutes, but unexpectedly, about 15 minutes in, the supervising staff member (Ganesh) who was initially there to check on us, disappeared without any communication or handover. After completing the 20 minutes, no one showed up to assist us back to shore until around the 25-minute mark, when another helpful staff eventually came over to guide us out. While we appreciate that person’s support, the lack of consistent supervision felt unsafe. Recommendation: If you’re planning to visit, the experience can be lovely, but I would recommend going during peak hours when more staff is present and the area is naturally busier if you are a non swimmer.
