This two-day Yellowstone National Park tour departs from Jackson, Wyoming, exploring both the Upper and Lower Loops. On day one, travelers pass through Grand Teton National Park before entering Yellowstone’s south entrance. Highlights include thermal features at Upper Geyser Basin, Old Faithful, Beehive, Castle, and other geysers, plus boardwalk excursions at Midway Geyser Basin, Grand Prismatic Spring, and Fountain Paint Pots. Lunch is a picnic at Fountain Flats, followed by stops at Firehole Canyon, Madison River Valley, Gibbon Falls, Elk Park, Artists Paint Pots, and Norris Geyser Basin. The day ends at Chico Hot Springs Resort in Montana for dinner and optional mineral pool relaxation.
Day two focuses on wildlife as the tour enters via the North Entrance, traveling through Mammoth Hot Springs toward Lamar Valley to spot bison, elk, antelope, bears, and wolves. The tour continues to Tower Falls, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone with Upper and Lower Falls, and then through Hayden Valley, Mud Volcano, Yellowstone Lake, and West Thumb. The journey completes the Grand Loop with a return to Jackson, offering a rich experience of Yellowstone’s geothermal wonders, wildlife, and stunning landscapes.
