This is definitely a sad sight to find in Dublin. Drivers drop off riders then sprint their horses back to the Guiness pick up line. The horses look exhausted, underfed, and generally very unhealthy. Please do not support this.

I personally own horses and understand that horses should not be used in the city. For tourist amusement! It's disgusting. It's the horse that suffers, this incident happened 11 Sep 25 around 4pm. Poor horse is in a deal of pain, bleeding from right rear leg. Surrounded by people that don't know what to do, when I offered an opinion it's don't stand around move on. A horse 'person' finally listened and went and got some cold water to help with swelling. Terrible for the horses, all so a few 'men' can earn a buck. Personally owning horses, it's a disgrace to see.

couldn’t give 0 stars but would have. horrible neglect of horses care, horses hooves in terrible condition proving they are not being groomed properly and are undernourished. long hours of horses on the streets, i saw the same horses out there all day. being driven by young careless drivers who i would not trust for a second

Disaster!!! The horses are mistreated and have open wounds!! They don't get enough break, don't have a species-appropriate posture. The treatment of the horses is miserable. When I asked the owner, they absolutely don't care. They take the horse until it breaks down - I mean are we in Egypt?? I wonder why the city of Dublin allows something like this - we live in the year 2025! It should slowly become clear to everyone that horses in cities is torture. Anyone who rides in such a carriage should imagine being the horse themselves!

We shared a ride the Ron n Maria. John, our tour guide was wonderful. He told us so much about the history of the buildings n places we rode past. His horse Del was a true gentlehorse n dealt with everything that the streets through at him. Even the silly barking fox terriers that almost jumped out the driver's side window as they drove past.
