Made travel so easy. Waited less than 5 minutes and Sean met us at our rental car. So friendly and helpful. Even waited with us while we figured out the car.
If I could give it 10 stars I would. We traveled with our 13 month old and were nervous of all the luggage-tried Stork Exchange and I will continue to use this service time and time again. The selection was great, the pick up was seamless (Sean had our cranky baby giggling immediately!) and we loved the car seat we chose so much we came back to the states and bought one. Equipment was immaculate, they quickly installed it all for us. Just such a huge load lifted after a long day of travel. Would certainly recommend!
I am absolutely shocked and furious at the condition of the pram I was given by the Stork Exchange. I rented a pram for my trip with two infants, based on the glowing reviews and the professional impression given on their website — but what I received was completely unacceptable. The pram was clearly old, heavily used, and honestly falling apart. The hood was ripped, and both seats had broken plastic parts that had been taped together at the top underneath the fabric — something I only discovered after my 2-year-old leaned back and I heard a cracking noise. What kind of company rents out equipment for babies that’s literally held together with sellotape? Even worse — and this is the part that still makes me feel sick — my 10-month-old baby actually fell out of the pram, despite being buckled in. He leaned over to the side and the buckles burst open leading to him falling and wounding his hand as he fell. This was terrifying and completely unacceptable. The structural damage to the pram made it unsafe and unstable, and it should never have been handed over to a paying customer, let alone used to carry children. I contacted the company immediately via Facebook. They apologised and offered to exchange the pram for another one, but I was already 200km away from their base in Dublin, so that wasn’t remotely helpful. There was no proper resolution offered, no urgency, no real accountability. I paid €80 to rent this pram for six days, and what I got was not only poor value — it was downright dangerous. I expected a safe, functional pram in good condition. What I got put my children at risk. This company clearly has no proper quality control and their customer service does not reflect the seriousness of situations like this. I will never use the Stork Exchange again, and I would urge other parents to think twice before trusting them with something as important as your child’s safety.
This is my third time renting from the Stork Exchange and I couldn’t be happier with the service. They are super helpful and obliging - via email and in person. We rented the Doona each time and it was so handy for city break holidays. I’ve recommended the service to lots of people - it’s so convenient!
Cannot recommend them enough! Rented the Stokke, Yoyo Zen 0+ months, Doona car seat cover, and spf50 umbrella — and honestly, I would have been lost without them! Because my flight was before they opened, they let me collect everything the day before, and when we landed back, they picked it up at the airport within 15 minutes. I’ve never had such a smooth, convenient experience. The stroller was perfect — lightweight, easy to use, and a total game-changer for travel. This service saved me from lugging all my own gear to and from the airport, and it even gave me the chance to test out the buggy I’ve been considering buying. I’ll 100% be using them again for future trips. Absolutely top-notch service from start to finish.
