This scenic float on the Snake River offers an unforgettable way to experience the natural beauty of Jackson Hole. Guests meet at the Stilson Parking Lot and are guided to Wilson Landing just south of Grand Teton Park. After a brief safety talk and donning lifejackets, participants board the raft where they will be seated on the outside pontoons and cross tubes while the guide handles all navigation. The journey begins with a gentle glide down the river, offering stunning views of the Teton Range, Snake River Range, Gros Ventre, and Hoback Ranges. Along the way, guests may spot moose, elk, deer, and a variety of birds including bald eagles with close-up views of active nests. The float includes a stop at a scenic gravel bar where guests enjoy a fresh picnic lunch while surrounded by pristine wilderness.

The entire trip covers thirteen miles and lasts approximately two hours on the water, providing plenty of time to relax, take photos, and enjoy the remarkable scenery. Professional guides share insights into the history, geology, flora, and fauna of the area, making this trip educational as well as breathtaking. The adventure concludes at Von Gontard’s landing south of Jackson. Guests are encouraged to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and comfortable footwear such as sandals. Bottled water is provided, and all rafting equipment is included to ensure a safe and memorable experience.
