Had the pleasure of staying here with two nights with my Marriott Bonvoy points. This hotel chain has a very good points system, so if you travel a lot, sign up to receive your points, and stay consistent with one hotel chain. This is a very huge resort, so our checkin took a little bit more time, and required a lot of patience. Our hotel suite was nice spacious and clean. They have ferries to take you to two of their private islands. We visited flamingo island. If you do not arrive early, your chance of being accommodated with the cabana or lounge chairs are slim to none. The island is very popular and it was very over crowded. You must book a private cabana well in advance. This resort is more for families and large groups because they have a lot of activities, Restaurants and a casino.
Lowest customer service in any resort we visited so far. Short on staff, 2 front desk employees at best, no floor managers. Very few pool side servers. Room service is a disaster, zero on cleanliness, empty fridge, you need to ask multiple times just to bring the small size water bottle . Food is average, drinks are ok. Not recommended. The place doesn’t meet the advertised reviews grades.
Beautiful, well-maintained hotel with warm and welcoming staff. We stayed on the adults-only side, but the pool was under renovation, so we used the Ocean Suites pool and beach. The beach was amazing, service excellent, and food delicious. Drinks were weak. We were upgraded to an Ocean View room, the view also included a parking lot and cruise ships, not quite what we expected. Housekeeping was fantastic, especially the nightly visits with towels, water, and chocolates. Unlimited access to Flamingo Island was a great perk. Overall, a wonderful stay and we’d definitely come back.
When I was looking to book, I was torn between the Marina side versus the ocean side. I chose the Marina side and was very happy with my choice. The staff were absolutely phenomenal— kind, attentive, and patient. I loved how the flamingo beach boat picked you up in the middle of the hotel, do you didn’t have to wait outside (like ocean side). The pool had great seating, music, and views. The marina side was adults only which was nice when it came to late nights in the pool. The rooms were updated and had a great coastal design to them. The housekeepers were so sweet and did a great job. The hotel was located centrally that we could walk to two hotels, the marketplace, and authentic restaurants. It was incredibly easy to get a taxi to take you wherever you needed as they always had taxis at the location. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back to Aruba, and will stay here again.
We stayed as four adults at the Renaissance Wind Creek Resort (Marina Side, all-inclusive) and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were small but very clean and equipped with all the essentials, and the food and drinks were very good. The staff were amazing—friendly, hospitable, and provided excellent personalized service. A highlight of our stay was the private Renaissance Island, with convenient boat pickup from the hotel. The island was stunning, with flamingos to feed, iguanas, free mats, and snorkelling gear. We saw lots of fish and even an octopus while snorkelling in the cove. The sand was soft, the water was clear, and the island bathrooms were well maintained. The pool on the Marina Side was also very nice, and the location felt safe and enjoyable to walk around, with the Marina and Ocean sides easily accessible by foot or shuttle. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it!
