I went through several other reviews before writing this, and it seems my experience wasn’t unique. The manager’s behavior came across as quite rude and dismissive. It appeared that service quality varied depending on how much he thought a customer might spend or tip, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. We were also disappointed to find that there were no vegan options available. During the ordering process, the manager repeatedly mentioned a “15 euros per person” order minimum, which felt unnecessary and disrespectful. When we expressed concern about how we were being treated, there was no apology or effort to improve the interaction. I believe all customers deserve respectful and consistent service regardless of what they order. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving communication and customer service. Replying to your Reply on my Review: If a person is trying to order and is looking for options, as a manager, one is supposed to be polite and wait for one to finish the order. We hadn’t finished ordering. For a person who is still looking for options, they don’t want to continually hear about policies and instead be greeted with options. Hopefully some day you guys are able to be unbiased and provide actual quality service.
I love coming here every time I’m in Dublin, the owner Andy and his staff always make me feel so welcome. And the food is exceptional too. On the occasion where we can’t eat in the restaurant, we also get it delivered, and it is just as good. Definitely one worth visiting while you are Malahide! Amazing food and great atmosphere. Lovely staff here who welcome you & accommodate anything you ask. The food as I said is amazing, with choices of Chinese, Thai, and Malaysian! Lots of options for anyone who hasn’t tried these cuisines before. Will definitely be coming back!
