Rome: Castelli Romani Day Trip by Train and E-Bike

From there, we will head to Roma Termini station to board the train, taking us to the stunning town of Castel Gandolfo, the historic summer residence of the Popes. Once in Castel Gandolfo, we will explore the charming historical center, wandering through its picturesque squares, churches, and the magnificent Papal Palace. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Albano and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the village.

The journey continues as we cycle towards Nemi, a village steeped in history and famous for its scenic lake and intriguing legends linked to Emperor Caligula and ancient Roman ships. After taking in the sights and stories of Nemi, we will pause for a leisurely lunch at one of the village’s traditional restaurants, sampling local culinary specialties. Following the meal, we will return to Rome by train, reflecting on the unique blend of history, culture, and nature we have experienced.
