Your journey begins at Himeji Station, where we will collect our bicycles and set off towards the historic shopping street in the castle town. Here, we will visit a renowned Japanese sweets shop with a legacy spanning over 300 years and savor "Tamatsubaki," a delicate confection once presented to feudal lords within the castle. Our adventure continues as we explore the majestic Himeji Castle, also known as Shirasagi-jo or "White Egret Castle," a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its elegant white façade and rich samurai history.
After ascending to the castle’s summit for breathtaking panoramic views, we will cycle through the charming streets of the castle town and indulge in an authentic Japanese lunch at a local restaurant.
