Embark on a 3-hour kayak adventure along the last stretch of the Ionian coast of Salento, near Santa Maria di Leuca. This experience is perfect for all skill levels, including beginners.
The excursion begins with a sea kayaking initiation course led by a Level 2 Instructor from the Italian Canoe and Kayak Federation. After putting on your life jackets and hopping into the kayaks, set off from Marina di Felloniche, paddling along the scenic coastline.
Along the way, enter breathtaking sea caves, including Grotta del Drago, Grotta degli Innamorati, Grotta delle Tre Porte, Grotta del Presepe, and Grotta del Fiume. In Grotta del Fiume, take a break to enjoy a guided trekking exploration inside the cave before returning to the starting point.

After reading the reviews, i was expecting another type of boat. That is not a big problem, but a bit distracting. I was on the 3h tour and it felt like a lifetime. It was warm and drinks were given right at the end. A bit late. Unfortunately, the guide was mostly in italian and not english. Sometimes a speaker would some things in english, but not too understandable. Overall, the workers were nice and always keeping an eye on the people and the views were great.
This was one of the best experiences we had whilst in Italy. Our boat guide Matteo was so friendly and had great knowledge of the area. We had lots of fun and enjoyed our Prosecco treat at the end. Highly recommend this experience. Great value for money.

From start to finish, it was a wonderful boat excursion with Captain Gaetano. It was a highlight of our trip to Southern Italy. We arrived a little late, yet they were very accommodating and allowed us time to enjoy a meal before the tour. Gaetano translated all descriptions of the grottos and caves into English so we could understand. We were able to see many beautiful and natural caves and the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. We were served drinks and snacks in between swimming in the sea. Unbelievable price for the experience, could not recommend enough!
The best boat excursion of Santa Maria di Leuca! Riccardo takes you on a wonderful trip alongside the Adriatic & Ionic parts of the coast. He knows the region very well and gives you all the explanations you need about the caves and views. His boat is intimate and very beautiful. We stopped 3 times for a swim in the crystal clear waters. Would 100% recommend Riccardo for this excursion!!
