The tour begins at Shimbashi Station, the historic site of Japan's first railroad, established in 1872. Your local guide will then take you to a casual bar run by Nara Prefecture, renowned as the birthplace of sake. Here, you'll enjoy a 30-minute all-you-can-drink sake tasting, with a selection of over 20 varieties of sake, which changes daily. These range from traditional sake made with Bodai-moto yeast, to dry, sweet, sparkling, cloudy, and fruit-infused options.
Next, the tour leads you to a teppanyaki restaurant in the heart of Ginza. At the restaurant, you’ll be welcomed by a skilled chef as they prepare your meal right in front of you on a heated Teppan. The meal features the finest A5-ranked Wagyu beef, complemented by seasonal soups, a Wagyu beef dish, garlic rice, miso soup, and a variety of special condiments and sauces.

Hawaii Joe is the best! Did the 11/15 wagyu and sake experience and had an incredible time. Not only did we try many different types of sake, but we learned a lot too. The food was very good and we left stuffed and happy. Thanks Joe!

Excellent experience, Chi was a great hostess. The wagyu was incredible but what made the experience special and unique was the carefully curated sake parings. Highly recommended experience 5/5 would do again!

We had a great food tour around Asakus with Tadashi who shared some of the best places to eat in the area. Amazing sushi, tempura, bread, and I introduced us to the world of matcha desserts. He was super friendly and patient with our two children who were trying Japanese food for the first time. A perfect introduction to Japan for our family!

Had a wonderful night with sake and wagyu. Our host Rie and co-host Tadashi were great hosts. Ninja food tours is fantastic guide group. 10/10 would book again. Dont hesitate and just book through them they know all their stuff ask them and I guarantee they will have an answer.

Hawaii Joe was super informative! And Nobu was an amazing host, super energetic and came from Disney! Very creative and innovative way to serve sake and wagu! We were amazingly entertained and had very meaningful conversation. The sake was not only flowing sweetly as described but the jokes and laughter and atmosphere was amazing!
