This guided tour takes you along the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean, where you’ll explore the rugged coastline of Sesimbra and the breathtaking Arrábida Natural Park. As you paddle, you’ll have the chance to discover hidden caves and coves only accessible by water. Our stable double sit-on-top kayaks ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, whether you're an experienced kayaker or a beginner. If you're traveling solo, you'll be paired with another adventurer or the guide for a smooth and social paddling experience.
After about an hour of kayaking, we’ll arrive at the stunning Ribeiro do Cavalo beach, a secluded paradise where you can relax and take in the spectacular scenery. A delicious picnic lunch awaits, featuring local snacks, fresh sandwiches, fruits, and drinks, providing the perfect refreshment after your adventure. Enjoy free time to swim, sunbathe, or explore the surrounding natural reserve, known for its rich marine life and fantastic snorkeling opportunities. As the day winds down, we’ll paddle back to Sesimbra, where our driver will be ready to take you back to Lisbon. This tour is designed for all skill levels and includes all necessary equipment, ensuring a fun, comfortable, and immersive way to experience Portugal’s stunning coastline.
Don’t forget plenty of sunscreen and a bathing suit for the time on the kayak. You can take your belongings along with you on the Kayak to the beach or you can store other belongings with us on the van. We don't have shade on the beach so a t-shirt is always a good option to have with you.
We do not recommend taking any electronic divice with you unless it's waterproof. You can use one of our water resistant bags that will be on the kayaks for small personal items but we can not be responsible for any electronic devices inside those bags during the trip. Sit on top kayak are totally open so water comes in and out of it during all time on the water, so you will be wet on the seat area. Don't forget to bring dry shorts/pants/swimsuit so you are dry on the way back to Lisbon.
If you have any type of water shoes you can bring them so you can use them on the beach if you don't feel comfortable with some of the small stones on it but it's not absolutely necessary (not a must bring option).
The meeting point will be in front of the main entrance to Time Out Market (Mercado da Ribeira): https://g.page/timeoutmarketlisboa?share and the guide meeting you will have a sign so you can easily find us. (we meet on the south entrance with the big clock on top of it).
Meeting time will be 10min before the booking time and we will leave the meeting point at the latest 10 min after the booking time of the tour. If you are running late please contact us at +351 969186859 or +351 925669071. Since we are operating a group experience we have to think about everyone else's experience and therefore provide this 15 min extra after the meeting time.
