I was just treated like absolute dirt by the woman in the baby section. I had just spent over €500 on an Nintendo switch and a toy for my son when I went down to ask about car seats for my little boy. The woman proceeded to ask me “well what is your budget” I told her I didn’t have one and that I was happy to buy the safest one. I had a few questions about the car seats which is totally normal when looking for safety. After about five minutes she turned around and said to me “I have to go there’s someone waiting to talk to me” I then walked off and she proceeded to talk about me to the two women waiting. I have never in my life been treated so badly. We are regulars up there and regularly spend a lot of money. I will never step foot in that store again. Absolutely disgraceful service. Avoid the baby section here
We had a fantastic experience at the Tallaght branch today. We wanted to buy a buggy. The sales assistant gave us really excellent advice, was so friendly and we had complete confidence in her knowledge. I would not hesitate to go back.
I dunno, if it is because I am brown or what. But the blonde on the main till just there was rude. Not courtesy hello or thank you. No bag offered for the item I purchased. I tend to brush it off as whatever. But the person before and after you can bet were asked that. And tbh it is not the first time this has happened in the Tallaght branch in recent years either. I am not some brown dude who sounds 'Indian' you can roll your eyes at.
