The Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) course is a four-hour, beginner-friendly program designed to teach participants how to respond to and provide pre-hospital care for casualties in adverse or high-threat environments. Based on the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) TECC curriculum, this course is intended for EMS practitioners, law enforcement officers, and responsible citizens who want to develop the skills needed to reduce preventable deaths in emergencies such as active shooter incidents, traumatic automobile accidents, or outdoor and hunting-related injuries. Participants learn to think critically and act quickly when providing care in HOT and WARM zones, with an introduction to COLD ZONE concepts and safe operational practices.

During the course, students focus on controlling massive bleeding and are introduced to the full MARCH casualty assessment and treatment protocol. They learn to use items commonly found in an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK), including tourniquets, hemostatic gauze, and chest seals. The training incorporates the American College of Surgeons STOP THE BLEED program and covers the three phases of tactical care. In the HOT ZONE, participants learn to render care under direct threat, manage hemorrhage, and move casualties to relative safety. In the WARM ZONE, students apply the full MARCH assessment, addressing Massive bleeding, Airway, Respiratory, Circulation, and Hypothermia. Practical instruction includes tourniquet application, wound packing, airway management, chest seal placement, pulse checks, and hypothermia prevention, preparing participants to respond effectively in life-threatening situations.

Brilliant experience with all members of staff. The receptionist was quick to provide information, check me in and was really polite. The female doctor that dealt with my small injury was very professional and informative and a pleasure to deal with all around. My xray was also taken with care and I was checked in promptly on the other floor. Very good experience in this clinic overall. Fast moving queue, within 2 hrs after I came in hopping I was sent out with a boot and medical advice with all the examinations :) 👍👍

Terrible experience with a very rude and bored doctor who wouldn’t even give me an x-ray. I suspect I broke my toe 11 weeks ago (thought it was a bad bruise, but it hasn’t healed well). He said it’s been too long and he wouldn’t do an x-ray, and that the clinic shouldn’t have sent me into him. Totally bizarre. He did give some small amount of advice but it was like trying to get blood from a stone. The wait wasn’t long so it’s a convenient place to go, but you’ve got to be lucky with the doctor you get.

I attended the Clinic today following a nasty fall at home involving a stupid hoover! I am giving an absolutely deseved 5 star review as everyone was so beyond kind. Receptionist on the ground floor was a absolute lady and organised for a team member to bring out a wheelchair as I couldn't put my foot down to get inside the building. This same guy also wheeled me up and down the floors for xrays and review. Then there was the lovely ladies at reception with a great sense of humour who took my details and got me sorted with forms etc. And finally a HUGE thank you to Ruth who looked after me throughout the whole process. She explained everything and fitted me with a boot and showed me how to use the crutches. Would highly recommend 👌

A credit to our health service. Just out after spending a few hours getting treatment on a badly fractured ankle. From reception all the way through were fantastic. I was seen promptly, the staff were very friendly and communicated really well. The doctors/nurses were great and I felt so well looked after. Not one of those reviews were you say I'll definitely be back 😂😂 but if I ever need to I know I'll be in good hands.

I attended the clinic yesterday morning. The reception staff was friendly and helpful and got me checked in quickly. I was then seen by Paula who was also very friendly alnd very professional. Paula examined me thoroughly and gave me advice accordingly. I felt very well looked after and went home with all the information I needed to get better. All in all I was there just under an hour, which was speedy.
