We had a great visit learning about some of the South African tribes. The dancing at end was fabulous. And the lunch - amazing. Absolutely delicious 😋
I had an amazing stay and cultural experience at aha Lesedi Village. From the time I checked in to the time I left, I was amazed and everything lived up to my expectations and more. From waking up in a beautifully designed culture specific house designed with detail to going to a spectular breakfast with friendly ladies to getting to enjoy the cultural show was just amazing. Also, I liked that it's a 5 minute drive up the road from lion and safari park which I went to enjoy a lovely safari and dine with views of animals. I highly recommend Lesedi to anyone who loves learning and being immersed in the local culture.
Super fun and entertaining place. We didn't overnight, but visited the village in the tour. The village part is kind of fake, but it does accomplish to provide an understanding of local ancient cultures. The food was fantastic and we loved the drumming interaction and dance show.
Wonderful experience. Great accommodation and lovely good. We did the cultural tour, show and dinner package and I would highly recommend it to anybody stopping over for thr afternoon or evening. The show was fantastic. They have a lovely bar area and light up the bonfire at night to sit around after dinner. If you stay overnight you'll be sure to hear the lions during the night as its right opposite the lion park. Stay overnight and enjoy the full experience.
Tour was lively and informative without slipping into “touristy” clichés. The dance performance has real energy, and the homestead walk-throughs are interactive in a respectful way. Buffet lunch was better than expected. Guides handled questions well and kept the group moving at an easy pace. Good for visitors who want a quick, structured overview of local cultures in one stop.
