Went here a couple weeks ago. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They really do everything they can to ensure you have a safe and fun journey when you're out on the water. They have very lightweight, high quality canoes and comfy pfds. I rented a keewaydin 15 solo canoe and it was very good. Performed well even though there was a decent breeze with occasional gusts. The lake itself is beautiful throughout the paddling season; from spring to fall. Very nice views. I recommend going through the little creek that runs off the lake. It has calm waters and good for spotting wildlife and views. Even though algonquin park is far from where I live in Toronto, it will always be my #1 spot for a day of relaxing paddling

Taking the canoe out on the water was truly breathtaking — it gave me a chance to slow down, soak in nature, and appreciate every moment. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable outdoor adventure!
Beautiful spot inside Algonquin Park! The drive is about 5–10 km off the main highway, and you might spot some wildlife along the way. I just stopped by for a visit and didn’t take part in any activities, but the location itself is scenic and peaceful.
