Amazing boat trip up the Shannon estuary on a gorgeous late September afternoon.Found dolphins near the ferry crossing. Fantastic sightings as the boat stayed still and quiet while the dolphins fed around us. Very respectful of the dolphins by not approaching too close but allowing them to approach the boat if they were happy to do so. Would definitely recomend. Thank you for an amazing trip.

Wonderful experience. To see the dolphins so closely was very special.

We booked on this trip on 01 July 25 Booking was easy and the boat and crew were great. Very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The Dolphins were being a bit elusive to start with and I thought we may be out of luck but eventually we came across a group of four that were hunting fish. The skipper got the boat in a good place and we viwed them for about 40 minutes, delaying our expected time back to the harbour. On the way back we came across another group and stopped a while to view them also. I would definitely recommend this trip. Great job guys.

We did any Dolphins, thus only 4 stars. Other than that, it was a very nice boat trip. It got a bit choppy at the end, but the boat provided a very stable ride in all circumstances. There was a lot of impressive infrastructure to be seen (the electrical powerplant), and of course, the wonderful Irish landscape left and right. The weather was overcast and fairly windy, and the fellows in the front of the boat got sprayed quite a bit. You should always take a rain jacket onnthosevtours ... The staff was very attentive and friendly. Some binoculars were provided, and at the end of the trip, every small child got a plush Dolphin. All in all, very interesting 2,5 hours, although the main purpose of the trip was not fulfilled. But it is nature, after all, and not a petting zoo,

Absolutely amazing, crew knew exactly where to find the dolphins and were so knowledgeable. Very respectful of the creatures too, only spending a little while with them not to disturb them and letting them just circle the boat naturally till we left them alone again.
