Absolutely incredible experience! One of the biggest highlights of our trip. Such a unique and amazing tour! Got to ride in the back of an army truck across some water and down to the river. Then boarded a boat and took an awesome ride out to the glacier. When they tell you to take the jacket for the boat ride, be sure to listen, it gets quite chilly for a bit, but totally worth it! Boating through the icebergs and then getting out on the terminal moraine for a hot chocolate and snack was a real treat! We also had an absolutely gorgeous day for the tour! Tom runs an amazing tour and I would highly recommend!

This is a five star tour from what you see and do. From the nice staff, to the monster truck ride, then boat ride, to the hot cocoa/coffee. They also provided heavy coats for all to keep you warm. The thing I hoped for was more “narrating” for the staff and it would have been great to have some coffee/snacks avatar the start of the tour for the people who had a long drive and missed breakfast. Or some direction on the website that food was available at a lodge/hotel 10 minutes up the road. It’s a little thing but it would have made the day more enjoyable. Overall, it’s still a “must-do” if you are in the area! VictorB

Even with a chilly drippy day, this tour was excellent! They provided warm coats with hoods for the boat trip. The truck ride through the river to the boats was even fun. Viewing the glacier sipping hot chocolate or coffee was a nice touch.

LISTEN, just book this tour. Don't even read the rest of this review, just pick a time and get it booked. If you're still reading, we spent ~10 days in Alaska, starting with a wildlife tour in Seward, then worked out way up & explored areas around Anchorage, Eagle River, Talkeetna, Girdwood, & Denali. This amazing tour was, by far, the highlight of our trip. It's not that the other things we did weren't awesome (they were), it's just that this little adventure was so well planned & executed. Tom and his team of guides were really great & friendly. From the 6x6 ride through the forest (we got some great shots of a moose), to a truly stunning boat ride through the river and glacial icebergs, all the way to the little base camp setup... You get the idea. Enough reading. Book it and thank me later.

What an unforgettable adventure! You get started in a rugged, military-style truck that powered through beautiful terrain and splashed through rivers—truly a really cool off-road thrill. Along the way, we even spotted some wildlife before switching over to an open-air boat ride. Pro tip: do borrow the extra coat they provide and bring gloves—it gets chilly on the boat ride! The boat took us upriver all the way to a stunning glacier, where we had time to explore, take breathtaking photos, and just soak in the awe of it all. This wasn’t your average tour—it’s a dream for anyone who loves the outdoors and craves adventure, this one is an absolute must. The price for this adventure was a steal of a deal, worth every penny, and we totally tipped our guides as they were amazing!
