Safety and regulations are a key part of the experience. All snowmobiles are insured as required by Finnish law, and participants are liable for any damages caused, with a compulsory deductible of up to €1200 per driver per incident. Drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Finnish driver’s license, and alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited. The tour may be adjusted or canceled due to extreme weather conditions (below –20°C) or for safety reasons, and children may be transported by car in such cases. The organizers reserve the right to discontinue the safari if a participant poses a safety risk or is in poor health. Participants are required to carry their driving license during the safari, as authorities may check its validity. This snowmobile adventure promises a safe yet exhilarating way to explore Pyhä’s winter wilderness while creating lasting memories in the heart of Finland.

We purchased a package which included the snowmobile, reindeer and husky ride. They offer winter kit for you, this is a plus, you don’t need to worry about being cold. They also have a variety of sizes, I was worried that they might not have my size but they go all the way to 4XL. In the description they said to be at the office at 10 however we didn’t leave the place until about 10:45. If you have those warm clothes on you it’s a bit uncomfortable to just wait around. My favourite part was the snowmobile, the reindeer and husky rides are so short you just blink an eye and it’s done 😆 we booked the package because we wanted to experience lots of things in a day. If you want a proper reindeer ride I would definitely recommend to book something separate, like a 2-3 hours tour. The whole experience takes about 5-6 hours. Thanks to reading the reviews in here I found a discount code for get your guide and saved around 20 euros for the booking. Our adventure took place on a rainy day and quite warm, around 6 degrees. I am sure that if you have the tour on a day with snow you’ll have an even better experience. The guides were friendly and tried their best to offer us a good service.

Booked the reindeer, husky and Santa Clause Village through get your guide for the family as the kids wanted to do all of the activities included in this tour but our budget didn’t allow us to do them all separate as it would have cost us a fortune. We had a great experience here. The rides are rather a little short from what I feel but it might just be the standard length for all I know. We got to do a reindeer ride, husky ride, got some good information from the local Sámi community and were dropped off at the Santa Clause Village at the end! A well worth experience!
