Fantastic New York Experience with TopView Bus Tours! Hop on Hop off Our experience with TopView Bus Tours in New York City was absolutely fantastic! We did the Uptown, Downtown, Night Tour, and Boat Tour over 48 hours, and it was worth every minute. The tours were well-organized, the routes covered all the must-see landmarks, and the commentary was both fun and informative. A special shout-out to Chris (Christian) at the Empire State Building location. We spoke with him several times before booking, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He explained all the tour options, helped us choose the perfect package, and even walked us through what to do if we missed a booking or ran into any issues. Christian is excellent at spotting tourists and speaking to them with the utmost respect. He approaches everyone with a friendly attitude, offers genuine help, and never comes across as pushy. He truly went above and beyond for us. He knows what to say, when to listen, and how to make customers feel valued. He’s a real asset to the company and should definitely be training other reps or leading a team. Thanks to him, our experience with TopView was smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. Highly recommend TopView for anyone visiting NYC — and if you can, ask for Christian

Cons; Avoid - first bus has no working speakers , no translation, not even announcing stops number so you have no idea where you are- driver was extremely rude and irritated when we ask to reset speakers hoping it will start working. Company support we called for refund did not care - so we changed bid to at least use Liberty cruise boat was furnished with folding chairs in 6 rows from the widows, dirty and over crowded- lunch was not included as advertised at the ticket purchase. No foreign languages translation on the cruise. After 50 minutes quick loop around Statue ( not 75) everyone was trying to get to the bus and 3 just passed by and did not even stopped- 4th bus came and after few stops tell everyone to get out at 5:30pm in time square without previous warning that be won’t go to the end. It’s wasn’t worth $ we paid for 6 people who is not able to use any guide in German as they not English speaking. Will not recommend and never use again . Pros: we were blessed with sunny weather and that the only thing we enjoy on the ride.

I took the night tour. Huge line waiting for a bus. Managed to get on the third bus after 40 minutes. Seems irrelevant to sell the 'bus every 15/20 minutes' if there's too many of us. Was told the tour would be 1 hr 20. Was 1hr 40min. Heavy traffic is predictable. Nothing new. View on bridge best bit. Don't buy tickets till you see the line first.

I have been to NYC many times and insisted I explore on my own. Yes, I saw lots of things over the years but wow…in one day using the TopView hop on hop off bus, I saw everything! Downtown loop has buses continuously and I never had to wait more than 5 mins! Uptown buses are fewer and further between which is as advertised. We did have to wait more than thirty minutes to start on the uptown route, my guess is the bus was still trying to sell tickets or spacing out their day, I don’t know. Either way, it is a GREAT value and super easy to use! Book online for best prices and ease of use! We also had the Liberty Cruise included and that was amazing! We got great pics of the old lady!

The agents told us a specific time our bus was going to leave so we cut our dinner short to make it to the bus on time. We arrived at 9:40 for a 10:00 departure, then proceeded to have to wait AN HOUR because they wanted to fill the bus. When asked several times about when we were leaving, we just kept being told ‘in a minute.’ There were 20 irritated people waiting. It started to rain, which is of course unexpected, but if the tour had started on time would have barely affected us. Our party of 3 each selected a seat closest to the edge of the bus so we could get the best view. After 40 minutes of waiting the agent had the audacity to ask us to move so they could use our seats for others to have our view. There were seats still available for people so we declined. The tour felt rushed although it was a nice evening and we got some decent pictures. Make sure you check all your options before you commit to this one.
