This eight day Puglia cycling tour offers participants the chance to explore the cuisine, culture, and history of southern Italy while riding through hill towns and coastal ports. Covering a total of 382 kilometers, with daily stages ranging from 53 to 74 kilometers and moderate elevation gains, the tour is rated difficulty level two, making it suitable for participants of all ages. The journey begins in Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before cycling to Alberobello with a mozzarella tasting at an organic dairy farm. Participants will explore the Itria Valley, tasting capocollo directly at local farms, and continue to Manduria for Primitivo wine tasting at one of Puglia’s oldest cooperative wineries. Each day combines scenic rides, cultural stops, and culinary experiences, including visits to Gallipoli, Leuca, Otranto, and Lecce, allowing riders to discover the diverse landscapes and historic sites of the region.

The tour includes a professional bike guide, e-bike rental, insurance, hotel accommodation with breakfast, and transfers throughout the itinerary. Bicycle maintenance and support are provided, ensuring a smooth experience for participants.
