Only a small part of the road is open, about two kilometers, although its total length is 7-8 kilometers. You can start from the tourist center, go to the old power plant, turn back and go out in the direction of Molassa and the restaurant of the same name. Then turn left and either go back along the road to the tourist center3, or go up to the Sentiero del Dint trail, which passes over the gorge with the old road and leads to the Ponte Antoi dam.
Genni

Entrance from Ponte Antoi at a cost of €3, helmet rental is included but we had our own via ferrata helmets, the beauty of the old Valcellina road will leave you breathless. The first road capable of connecting the three towns of Cellina, Molassa and Montereale was opened in 1902 also thanks to the need to have a construction road for the construction of water systems. After various collapses due to the karst nature of the rock and many recovery and construction works of the tunnels, it closed definitively in 1992 with the construction of the new tunnel currently in use. A road of great historical interest in the partisan struggle during the Second World War, it runs along the entire Cellina ravine, an overbearing and extraordinary nature that you will carry in your heart.
Max

The trail is suitable for everyone, and you can even bring your dog. The entrance fee is €3 and a helmet is provided, but I recommend anyone who owns one bring their own, as the ones provided don't fit properly and you risk losing them when looking down into the gorge. Halfway through, the more adventurous can try the Tibetan bridge over the gorge for just €3.
Ale

A quiet route on the old asphalt road in Valcellina now closed to car traffic. We start from next to the Forra del Cellina nature reserve reception center where the ticket office is located (€3 per person in 2022). At the entrance to the road at the beginning of the first tunnel you will be given a helmet which you must wear for the entire route due to possible falling debris. The road is elevated above the stream, just over 4 km round trip with a very slight slope. Along the route that leads to the old dam you pass through short tunnels and you can admire breathtaking views of the very deep canyon carved out by the stream with emerald-coloured pools of water. Nice place to take a family walk even with a stroller. Dogs on a leash.
