We spent a long weekend at the site and will definitely go back. It's perfectly fine for a short stay just to get away for a bit. In our opinion, it doesn't need anything more.

The campsite is mostly clean and tidy, but the wet rooms, sinks, and surrounding areas desperately need regular cleaning. Signage is missing in some places. The ground is paved, which cost us a lot of pegs. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't leave a good impression on us. Opening hours are entirely up to us...not open late enough in the evenings, so you have to pre-order rolls for breakfast (not always possible depending on your arrival day, as it's closed Mondays and Tuesdays). The campsite is teeming with rabbits, but that didn't bother us ☺️. It's worth knowing, though. The groundskeeper is super friendly 🫶🏽

Unfortunately, our stay didn't work out, but the place is beautiful, and above all, the staff is extremely friendly, competent, and helpful. They were also very accommodating and helpful even though we had to cancel. That's unfortunately not a given these days, and their kindness alone is worth five stars. Thank you so much.

We received a very warm welcome. The campsite is beautifully situated by the dam. The staff is also very friendly in the attached restaurant. Delicious, simple dishes. There are very nice, easy-to-ride bike paths in the area. Unfortunately, there are no accessible showers. The accessible toilet is difficult to reach with a wheelchair. Perhaps they will upgrade it in the future.
