Sewing Lesson: (Flared) Legging (Amsterdam West)

Gain hands-on experience working with stretchy fabrics in this engaging sewing lesson at our Sewing Café. During the session, you will create your own flared leggings using organic materials provided by us. This lesson is ideal for beginners learning to work with stretchy fabrics for the first time, including techniques on the overlock machine. Under the guidance of an experienced fashion designer, you will learn essential skills such as cutting stretchy fabric, working with a sewing pattern, creating basic seams, and finishing a waistband with elastic. The class provides a supportive environment to build confidence and develop practical sewing skills.

In addition to creating your leggings, you will also learn how to finish hems and work efficiently with stretch materials. Instruction is provided in both Dutch and English, making the class accessible to a wide range of participants. This lesson is suitable for complete beginners or those with some sewing experience who want to refresh their skills.
