Lovely experience. The hosts are very welcoming and warm. The site is beautiful and the accommodation is very much glamping vs camping. Each tent or cabin has its own appointed bathroom in a block of facilities central to the two camp areas. Kitchen, bbq and camp fire all too notch. Kids adored it. Highly recommend

We booked an amazing stay for a hen party in the Mountain Glampsite. From the time I got into contact with Kyra she was brilliant. The amount of information she provided was incredible, it really helped me plan the weekend. The Glampsite itself was beautiful , you can really see the amazing work Kyra & Barry have put into the place. The hobbit houses were lovely and quirky so clean and had great facilities. The kitchen area was absolutely ideal and again lovely and clean with everything you need provided. The whole group who travelled with us absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend taking a trip here whether it’s for a hen party or a family getaway. I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s definitely a place you would return again.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Kyra was so sweet and helpful and made organising this hen very smooth. We stayed two nights and booked out two Glampsites for our group of 33. It was such a relaxing atmosphere and the accommodation is fantastic. The bathrooms are hotel standard with lots of hot water and good water pressure. The accommodation was really clean and decorated so nicely, especially the hobbit houses there were barbecues for us to use and fully stocked kitchens in each of the sites. Everything was perfectly clean when organising the weekend we were provided with a list of recommended vendors and activity, which made everything very easy. The beds were really comfortable. There was heating in all the rooms and the whole side was surrounded by beautiful meadows and fields with horses and cows. Thank you so much, Kyra for a great weekend.

In all my favorite spots in Ireland, this place makes the top five. For reference: We stayed in Hobbit Village in Garden house and Woodcutter (each of the 6 village houses have assigned names). Both were beautiful and extremely clean/ comfortable. The communal dining space is just as attractive, with ample seating and an extra large industrial fridge. All the kitchen utensils you could ever need can be found here! This area opens up to a large wildflower field that overlooks a farm, adding an overall peacefulness to the area. There is also an outdoor fire-pit with comfortable chairs and marshmallow roasting sticks. Three of the houses have their own en suite bathroom with shower, while the other three have an individually assigned private bathroom attached to the building with the communal kitchen. There is another area of the Glampground that we didn’t personally stay in, but did get a chance to talk to some guests there and they were very happy with their accommodation- this area included smaller wooden huts and platform tents, and also included an incredibly cute communal dining space with a back deck that overlooks the pasture. It’s very obvious that Kyra and Barry poured their heart and soul into this place. They were very helpful with updated emails and even provided a list of things to do in the area and helpful reminders/ tips for our stay. You will not be disappointed with your experience here!! Tips: -Towels are not provided, so bring your own. - While a picnic table is available at each hobbit house, bringing relaxing campfire chairs would be nice to relax in the garden. A+++

We had a fantastic week at Glamping Under the Stars celebrating for a hen weekend. From the start, communication with Kyra was easy. And when we arrived it was even better than the pictures, superb kitchen setup. Everything was thought of, even hot water bottles for our beds! Would 100% recommend this place for a group of friends or family trip.
