Amazing experience with New and Gauley Adventures, Macy was our guide and kept the energy levels through the roof as we did the lower Gauley. So much so we signed up for the upper the next morning. It was incredible! Macy is a 5 star guide and I would recommend her to get you down the river!
My husband booked us a trip during gauley fest with my parents. We had never been white water rafting, it was an insane time (in the best way) we didn’t know what to expect, we just knew it was going to be fun and knew the most important thing was to listen to our guide (Isaiah) he was very calm, collected, fun and knowledgeable. All the guides were hilarious and were the coolest people. No one on our boat got hurt on our 16 mile class 5 white water rafting expedition. Highly recommend, 5 stars and one of the best memories we will cherish forever! Yew!!! (We bought the photos)
We had an absolutely amazing experience with New & Gauley River Adventures! This sweet, small operation made our full-day excursion down the New River Gorge unforgettable. My husband and I took our two boys, and from start to finish, everything felt personal, safe, and fun. Our guide, Lindsey, was incredible — she had the perfect blend of knowledge, humor, and warmth. She shared interesting history about the area, kept things light with her wit, and had fun little tricks up her sleeve to keep the kids engaged. You could tell she was experienced and truly passionate about what she does, which made us feel completely at ease the entire time. What made it even more special was that because it’s a smaller rafting company, our tour was private — just our family and Lindsey. It felt like we had the river to ourselves, and we got to enjoy every moment of the adventure together without the hustle of a big group. Highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a meaningful and memorable way to enjoy the outdoors with their family
