Join a fun and engaging beginner course at the Craft Café, designed to help participants master the basics while creating their very first project. The course starts from the beginning, guiding learners through essential techniques such as starting the work, chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet stitch, and finishing.

During the course, participants also create a stylish shoulder bag, allowing them to practice different stitches while working toward a completed handmade item. Materials and a crochet hook can be included or brought by participants themselves, and a selection of colorful recycled t-shirt yarn is available to choose from. This hands-on approach ensures a practical and enjoyable learning experience.

The course offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing students to book follow-up lessons at times that suit their personal availability. It is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some prior experience who wish to refresh their skills. All classes are taught in English, ensuring accessibility for a wide range of participants.

From January, all Craft Café workshops, courses, and lessons will be held at the Amsterdam West location, offering a creative and inspiring environment for learning. After completing the course, participants can continue their crochet journey with additional lessons if they wish to receive occasional guidance. The program provides a supportive space for ongoing creativity and skill development.
