As luck would have it, we got snow for 3 straight days, so I told my wife I’m headed north and renting a machine! The owner of Snow Blitz (Amy) was taking care of my reservation and all my phone call questions. They even let me switch from a 4 hour to an 8 hour event. I would highly recommend booking an 8hr or full day session. Especially if you are lucking to have a ton of snow! Their employee Nick met me in the parking lot. He gave me swift instructions of how to operate the machine and I was on my way. I ended up renting what they say is a 600 on their website but it’s a 650 2stroke. The trails were perfect, I went in the middle of the week, so I was lucky to only see a few other sleds the whole day. I rented from the Traverse location. I did get stuck in deep snow trying to turn around. I called for help and Nick was sending someone for a recovery, but I heard 2 sleds coming down the trail and flagged them down. They stopped and helped me unstuff the sled, I called Nick back and canceled the recovery. Good thing I did! He mentioned depending on the level of stuckness, that could have been upwards to $500 for a recovery. Which I was unaware of at the time. I didn’t read the super fine print but I’m sure it’s listed in there. Just be careful, and use your head out there!

Super easy process to book and get started on the trails. We checked in, found our rental helmets and were shown how to operate the snowmobile then where to go. The guy working was really friendly and suggested to eat at Peegeo's after - which was a great idea! The snowmobile trails were very well marked and maintained & the snowmobile itself was in extremely good condition. Easy to operate and the built in hand warmers were much appreciated! 4 hours was the perfect amount of time. We would definitely rent here again.

My family of 4 rented 4 singles this past Saturday and Nick was such a great guy, he was not only extremely knowledgeable and informative of the dos and don’ts but he went out of his way to insure we had the best fitting helmets and nose pieces and just made our experience one to remember. Nick also encouraged us to get the additional $40.00 insurance to make the deductible $500.00 instead of $1000.00 incase of an accident and damages are caused, so thankful we listened… my 17 year old tilted it to the side and broke the mirror and windshield piece & instead of them charging the entire $500.00 they were very honest and just charged us the amount to fix. I would most definitely recommend this place to all family and friends & I’d also like to say these are NOT TOYS and could become dangerous if you’re not operating the snowmobile as you’re instructed to by Nick stay in the trails and pay attention to oncoming vehicles and skiers and you will have a blast making unforgettable memories!

We had such a great time with Jeff. His sleds are great and very well maintained. His knowledge of the area is second to none. He was patient and so fun to spend the day with. If you are looking for a fun snowmobiling trip, this is the place!! Looking forward to the next time!!

We had a terrific time snowmobiling all around the self / map guided trails! Thank you so much Jeff for the incredible time. Jeff helped us map our day and was available by phone when we had questions on the trail. Good machines and incredible service. There was just enough snow. I read reviews about not being able to contact the office from angry customers. The website mentions they have been having issues with the phone system and to use Facebook. We messaged with Jeff on Facebook and he was quick to respond. No issues. Thanks again Jeff for making our trip special!
