We just returned from a really special family break at Bryn Gloch Caravan & Camping Park. The site is in a really lovely location with incredible views and close to a lot of different family activities. It is often difficult to describe the feel of any particular site, but Bryn Gloch is really special. The staff were friendly and helpful, there is a food van (which is a great bonus) and pitches are a good size. We stayed on a fully serviced pitch. The site is clearly well-looked after. We can’t wait to return next year. Thanks Bryn Gloch for a special family holiday (even in the rain!).

We would highly recommend staying at the Ty Bryn Gloch cottage! It has absolutely everything you need for a lovely stay and is of a high standard. A big bonus for us are the full height fences so our dogs can't escape and the hot tub for the humans. There are stunning walks all around the area easily accessible from here. Can't wait to come back next year!

It’s a lovely site and a great central location for visiting North Wales. There were amazing views for lots of mountains/hills around the campsite. Plenty of toilet facilities that were slightly outdated however they were clean and more than adequate. The pitches were nice and level and well spaced. We opted for a late check out which was £20 for an extra 6 hours (5pm checkout) which allowed us to have a whole extra day out. The staff were lovely and helpful. We definitely recommend this site and will be visiting again.

We stayed at Bryn Gloch last year and loved it so much we came back this year with a group of 6 adults and 5 children (ages 4, 5, 7, 9, and 12). We were lucky with the weather and, once again, the stream was a firm favourite with the kids (and some of the grown-ups too!). The scenery is stunning and on a clear night the starry sky is just magical. Our friends, who were camping for the very first time, absolutely loved it and we all made great memories. That said, there were a few things that could be improved – especially given we were on serviced pitches, which are among the more expensive options. The nearest washroom facilities weren’t always the cleanest. I suspect this was down to a few inconsiderate campers, but more regular cleaning would have helped. We often found urine left on seats, unflushed toilets, and showers that were soaked with grass and hair. One of our younger campers had a scary moment when she got stuck in a toilet cubicle because the lock was faulty. Staff were able to unlock it from the outside, but it took a while and left her quite shaken – hopefully that lock has now been fixed. Also worth noting: the serviced pitches are quite a distance from the shop and play park. It wasn’t a big problem for us, but something to bear in mind if you have little ones. Overall, despite the few issues with the facilities, Bryn Gloch remains a beautiful place for a camping trip and we’d happily come back again – especially if the washroom maintenance gets a bit more attention.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this campsite! The site has two fantastic play parks for the kids, plus a beautiful river where they could cool off. There’s a handy on-site shop stocked with all the essentials, and we loved that there was a different variety of food trucks each night – such a treat! There’s also so much to do in the surrounding area. Amber Falls is an amazing spot for a hike, and our kids really enjoyed exploring there. We can’t recommend this campsite enough – it’s a wonderful place for families and we’ll definitely be coming back!
