Stopped here for a picnic, lovely old railway station.
The old rail trail is a fantastic walk cycle or run through the old railway route. Which connects Mullingar Moate and Athlone with future plans to connect to Galway. 5minutes walk/cycle to Moate town There are also coffee/tea stops along the routes These photography are part of the Diecast collection taken by me @Ck_dicastphotography Instagram
Best place for a Walk or cycling. Shared path but beautiful. You can cycle 20 Km to mullingar or 15 KM to Athlone.
