The River Front Campground at 1800 Arcadia Road in Buchanan Virginia offers a scenic and convenient camping experience along the river. The campground features ten riverfront campsites suitable for tent camping only, with no RVs or trailers allowed. Located about six river miles downstream from the Buchanan canoe livery and thirteen miles upstream of the Glasgow boat landing, the campground provides easy access for both drive in and paddle in visitors. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire ring, and level gravel area for tents, ensuring a comfortable setup for campers. The property also includes a group river access area, port a potties, and a dumpster for trash. There are no utilities or water provided on site, so guests are required to bring their own drinking water and pack out all trash. The campground is accessible via I81 exit 168, about two miles down on the left on Arcadia Road, and is situated just downstream from the Arcadia Virginia DGIF Public boat landing.
