1 Day / 2 Night Buchanan to Back Run Creek Campground

This river adventure offers two nights of camping combined with a full day of paddling on a sixteen mile section of the river. Guests arrive the afternoon or evening before the trip to set up camp at the designated campground. The next morning, participants are picked up at nine AM and shuttled to Buchanan to begin the sixteen mile paddle back to their campsite. The paddle typically takes six to seven hours at a normal pace and includes numerous class I and II rapids, scenic mountain views, and opportunities for swimming and enjoying the natural surroundings. The trip is ideal for families or small groups seeking a weekend getaway with a mix of camping and river adventure. Pricing includes boat rental, paddles, life jackets, safety orientation, river maps, use of dry bags, five gallon water jugs, access to private camping land, and all required shuttles.
