We had the most amazing scenic tour with Thomas. When a different company cancelled our whale watching tour last minute we were devastated. We decided to book a quick tour with Prince of Whales and since it was a same day booking, we were limited to the scenic wildlife tour. Once we told Thomas how disappointed we were he told us he’d do his best to make this an amazing trip. And boy was he right! Not only did we get to see bald eagles, seals, and an amazing view, we got to see whales! Three of them and it was by far the highlight of our trip. Thank you Thomas, so so much for the most amazing tour.

Initially my dad and I were going to do the whale watching tour but it was sold out. So we landed on doing the city tour with Captain Jake and it was so fun! Captain Jake was a fantastic guide and really went above and beyond with our group. I’m not a fan of the cold weather, but the suits kept us warm and I was so happy I didn’t even care about the cold. In fact, it was actually a beautiful and calm day for October. We saw seals and an eagle and of course a beautiful city view. I am so happy we did this. Thank you Captain Jake for an exciting tour and also the employee who sold us the tickets for your help (I’m sorry I don’t know your name. She had short blonde hair).

We don’t often do the usual tourist stops, but a friend of mine who recently moved to Vancouver had taken your whale watching tour and suggested we try it out. Due to our limited schedule, we chose the City and Nature Tour with Jake — and it exceeded all our expectations!! Jake is a wonderful guide: friendly, knowledgeable about the local area and wildlife, and with an incredibly keen eye. On our return to the harbor, Jake spotted humpback whales in the distance, and we got to see them surface and dive. Then, as we got closer in, he also saw a pod of orcas, which we were able to stop and watch for a few minutes. Everyone we spoke to at Sea Vancouver was nothing short of professional, friendly, and helpful — from Billie when we called, to Victor who handled our check-in, to Jake as our captain. I would absolutely do this again when we’re back in Vancouver and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a fabulous experience and spectacular view of the city.
