My wife and I were visiting Banff from the UK as part of our honeymoon and had two tours booked with Discover Banff in the same day; a wildlife tour, and a tour of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Both tours were completed by Henry, who was fantastic throughout. I love hearing anyone talk passionately about anything, and Henry had so much information about the history of Banff, the history of different locations that we visited during the tours and facts about wildlife, all seamlessly delivered with humour and charm throughout. We didn’t see a great deal during the wildlife tour, but that’s just the luck of the draw. I spotted a bull Elk in the distance, from the top of a hill, and he was down by a creek on his own. I was able to get a picture so other people on the tour could see. In the afternoon, the visit to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake was brilliant. Beautiful water and landscape, and plenty of opportunities to explore and take pictures. We learned why the water was so blue, and found this to be a common subject during other tours we went on and were able to impress other guides. Maple cookies and water were provided on both of the tours. The cookies were fantastic and we ended up buying boxes to bring home with us. Would definitely recommend this company for tours in and around Banff. P.s. to Henry: later on our trip, not only did we see a black bear, but we also saw two Moose!!

We very much enjoyed our tour with Neil whilst here in Banff. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Banff and its history. Neil was able to change our tour at the last minute due to weather changes closing Lake Moraine and kept us all excited about the new lake location. We did multiple tours whilst in Banff and Neil was by FAR the best guide we had!

Anick gave us the best tour today! She is a wealth of knowledge and kept us engaged the entire day. The drive was stunning and she made time for us to stop at all the beautiful lookouts. Thank you so much for the great memories!!

Toured with Discover Banff twice this week. First was to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. The second was the Banff City and Wildlife tour. Both were excellent and a good way to see a lot if your time is short. The driver/tour guide (Henry for the first tour and Sam for the second), were both safe and careful chauffeurs as well as being knowledgeable guides. Both offered insight to all that we saw. Climb the rock pile at Moraine Lake and hike along the beach at Lake Minnewanka. The overlooks viewing the historic Banff Springs Hotel and the Hoodoos were terrific. As was the stop viewing Castle Mountain and Mount Temple. These tours were well worth the ticket. The vans were spacious and comfortable and not too big. The groups were about 15 people each tour. I'd tour with them again on my next visit to Banff.

An Outstanding Guided Hike with Spencer This guided hike was a highlight of our trip to Banff. The scenery around Moraine Lake was absolutely breathtaking, but what made the experience truly special was our guide, Spencer. He was polite, caring, considerate, and patient—always making sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and included. His deep knowledge of the Canadian Rockies’ geology, flora, and fauna brought the landscape to life, and his enthusiasm (even for the small details, like the fascinating wood frogs!) made the hike both educational and fun. Spencer set a perfect pace for the group, taking time to stop, rest, and explain the sights along the way. I felt well cared for the entire time, and the thoughtful balance of activity and learning made the day unforgettable. This tour is very well organized with transport, lunch, and hiking poles included, but the real difference is in the guiding. Spencer turned a beautiful hike into an exceptional experience. Highly recommend!
