Rang the company to arrange the hire of the bed Bed was delivered promptly the next day and installed in 10 minutes with excellent instructions on how to operate.It also came with an adjustable hospital style table that could be positioned over the bed which I found very useful. I was also informed that if I wished to keep the bed beyond our agreed arrangement that I simply had to contact the office to extend the hire. This gave me great pieces of mind as I was unsure how long my recovery would take and if I would still need the bed beyond the initial hire period. On returning the bed,the same gentleman returned to dismantle it and was just as efficient as when installing.

We rented a mobility scooter for my mother-in-law for a 5 day stay in Dublin. Perfect service. I set up the rental and paid over email/online the week before the trip. The scooter was waiting for us with an extra battery free of charge at the hotel when we arrived. We left it in the same spot when we departed and MD picked it up. The scooter held up great on the sometimes rough cobblestone streets of Dublin and the battery was so efficient we sometimes walked over 8 miles a day on one charge (the backup battery was truly unnecessary but we appreciated having the peace of mind!) Great, easy, seamless experience. Highly recommend!

I had the very best experience with Mobility Direct and the scooter they provided. I've had 3 major back surgeries and a knee replacement so long distance walking is difficult. My family and I came to Ireland for the first time to enjoy a vacation together. Without riding on a scooter, I would never have been able to keep up with them and would have been tired most of the time. When I reached out to Mobility Direct, I was helped by Karen O'Halloran. She was very kind and helpful, provided me all the information I needed and was very timely in her responses. It was a joy to work with her. The scooter is a stout, well made machine. It is easy to assemble, disassemble and could fit nicely into my car trunk. I found it very helpful to have the scooter delivered and picked up at our hotels. It was so useful for all the places we wanted to see throughout our stay. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Mobility Direct to anyone who needed the use of a scooter. It is my pleasure to give a 5 star review for this company. Tomasz delivered the knee scooter directly to my bedroom the day I got out of hospital and showed me how to work the scooter. He was so pleasant and trustworthy. During my time my scooter broke and I had a replacement delivered by the next day. Karen in the office was extremely prompt and helpful every time she called me and made all of the transactions extremely smooth. Mobility Direct set up an airbed incorrectly and it was faulty. Martin pressured my elderly father into agreeing to pay €200 to rectify the problem, after paying €2600 the previous day. When I rang and told him I’d be taking legal action if necessary, he snapped that he doesn’t respond to threats and said he’d be turning around, thus leaving my father with no bed to sleep on. I’d recommend not dealing with any company with this level of moral compass. MobilityDirect are fine unless there’s a problem. Edit: When I arrived to see what my father had gotten from Mobility Direct, I realised the problem. It was a secondhand bed, and presumably secondhand mattress. The mattress was also of very poor quality; it wasn’t a proper air mattress, but half foam and half air. It’s for this reason that it was leaking (which is what the problem was). Mobility Direct’s Google Reviews fooled me. Martin wasn’t pulling the wool over my eyes by pawning off secondhand goods as new. To his credit he promptly refunded me, but that was once I threatened him with dealing with this in my professional capacity. It seems to me that Martin’s success is founded on the exploitation of credulous elderly, and like every cheat, became instantly hostile when challenged. I’d recommend sticking with the proper accredited companies like HC21 (O Flynn) or any other reputable company as I did in the end.
