My very first time doing a Murder Mystery Dinner. The brain usage you needed to use was incredible but so worth it. And when it followed with a beautiful charcuterie board from Stock and Supply and a glass of wine, even more delightful! It's worth an experience and so worth doing another one again!
I feel that the hotel room was too small for 7 people. I can't imagine if the booking was full at 10. We were tripping over each other, Ideally, this game in this room would have been so much better with 5 people or less. They tried to make the mystery intriguing but the story line lacked interest. Also, they had too many locks to figure out. What mystery has 4 locks? The drink and snack in the hotel bar was fine but I probably didn't have to do that either. I would have been ok with just the mystery game.
Very well organized and lots of fun. We really enjoyed our mystery. The food was simply excellent and the restaurant staff were very friendly and professional. My only negative comment would be that some of the locks were not well maintained and didn't function even when our host tried to open them. This made the game very frustrating. The mystery was quite complex with many details hidden in letters and newspapers articles. I wasn't expecting to do as much reading. I thought it would have be more about find physical clues. At the end it came down to a 50/50 choice to solve the puzzle.
So fun and interactive for our family! We did the murder mystery in gastown and not only was it a fun 2-hr activity, it was a great way to see that part of Vancouver. Our two kids, age 12 and 15, did most of the work and they found it challenging and engaging. Would definitely recommend this activity!
Such a fun activity!! We were a private group of 8 and it was awesome! 6-8 ppl I think is perfect. The activity was well put together and the girls that brought everything, set up and helped us along the way were great! Would definitely recommend this as a fun and different thing to do with friends 😁
