This full-day tour offers a fascinating journey through history, culture, and local craftsmanship, starting with a visit to the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved cities of the classical world. You will explore remarkable ruins such as the Library of Celsus, the Odeon, the Great Theatre, and the Temple of Hadrian, each reflecting the grandeur and sophistication of ancient Roman architecture. The tour also includes a visit to the Terrace Houses, beautifully restored mansions that once belonged to wealthy citizens, giving insight into the daily lives and lifestyles of the elite in Ephesus. Walking through these historical sites, guided by an expert, allows you to fully appreciate the city’s rich heritage and significance in antiquity.
In the afternoon, the tour continues with a visit to the charming village of Sirince, known for its traditional architecture, narrow streets, and local wine production. Here, you can stroll at your own pace, sample local wines, and enjoy the village’s quaint atmosphere. The tour also includes visits to local workshops, such as a carpet weaving village, where you can see artisans creating intricate handmade carpets, and a leather factory, showcasing traditional techniques used in crafting high-quality leather goods. At the end of the day, you will be conveniently dropped off at your hotel in Kusadasi or Selcuk, having experienced a blend of ancient history, cultural heritage, and local craftsmanship.

From start to finish, Ephesus Shuttle provided us with a very pleasant tour experience. We connected easily with our guide Ekim at the disembarkation port of our cruise, and enjoyed our road tour of Kusadasi in a comfortable, air-conditioned mini-van on the way to the ancient city of Ephesus which offers a rich and incredible view and experience of history . Ekim was very knowledegeable, and his enthusiasm and energy kept our small group of senior travellers positively-engaged and entertained. Highly recommended.

We did the Istanbul small group tour (tram option) with James and it was fantastic. We were able to visit Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, and the Blue Mosque without heavy crowds due to the early start time. James was very helpful and our group had a great time exploring Istanbul.

What a WONDERFUL day! We toured historic Ephesus on a beautiful day with our FABULOUS tour guide, Pinar. She made sure we were able to see all the things we wanted to see, and allowed us to avoid the things we didn't. She was so knowledgeable and kind. We had a lovely day walking along and learning SO MUCH about Turkey's history. I'm sure we asked a million questions, but we received a million very patient and knowledgeable answers. We even loved the 15 minute reimagination show which allowed us to visualize and "experience" what Ephesus was like. Every aspect of our day was well thought out and curated by Pinar. We were so grateful! Pinar made our day extra special. A private tour is the way to go if you want to avoid waiting for 30 other people in your group to take the same old selfies. Ephesus Shuttle offers great tours at great prices. I would definitely book them again on any return trips to Turkey!

Great experience from start to finish. Pickup at the port was easy, we were met right away and whisked off in a nice Mercedes van. Pinar was an excellent tour guide at Ephesus, providing the right amount of info at the right pace for us. A big reason I picked this private tour was so we could skip the carpet experience, and we got so much more for our money. Definitely recommend!

Mary’s House on Mount Koressos, near Ephesus, is a peaceful spot surrounded by olive trees, where visitors tie prayers to the wish well wall. No photos are allowed inside. We also toured the Ephesus Ruins.Melih Ozsoy, made the visit unforgettable with his deep knowledge of Turkey and every stop we made. Highly recommend him!
