We had a fabulous time on our afternoon tea cruise. The food was fabulous, we were blessed with nice weather and our host was amazing and so knowledgeable and obviously loves what he does. Would definitely do another one..... thank you 😊

Our family of four hired a 6-berth boat and cruised from Burscough to Wigan and back. The boat was great, the route was lovely, and the service from Lancashire Canal Cruises was superb—special thanks to Marc, who was incredibly helpful. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We booked the private hire and I was quite nervous about the boat as I'm scared of them but this helped to build my confidence. Mark (our skipper) was incredibly kind and accommodating and offered to let me steer the boat which by the end I had took up his offer and loved it. Wonderful experience, beautiful sights. Would highly recommend. Also loved wearing the captain hat, thank you mark! We loved it✨

A delightful experience with Lancashire Canal Cruises! From start to finish, our trip was thoroughly enjoyable. The food served on board was a definite highlight – clearly freshly prepared and absolutely delicious, exceeding our expectations for a canal cruise. Our pilot was exceptional; not only incredibly skilled at navigating the waterways but also very informative, sharing interesting facts and anecdotes about the local area. Their polite and friendly demeanour added significantly to the relaxed atmosphere of the journey. The only minor points for improvement would be the seating and the overall ambience. While perfectly functional, the seats were a little too high and narrow for the average person, making it somewhat difficult to sit in true comfort for the duration of the cruise. To truly elevate the already pleasant atmosphere, I would suggest adding some charming bunting and perhaps even fairy lights. These small touches would undoubtedly enhance the visual appeal and create an even more magical experience on the water. Despite these minor suggestions, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Lancashire Canal Cruises for a relaxing and enjoyable day out.
